David Jacobs interview on aliens and abductions
I interviewed Dr. David Jacobs on the topic of alien-life and abductions. He is a professor at Temple University and has spent over 40 years researching aliens. He has worked with and counseled over 150 people that claim to have been abducted by aliens. In 1973 he received a Ph. D. on the study of UFO existence; he was only the 2nd person to ever achieve this at that time. He is interested in aliens, and his field of specialty is actually alien abductions.
In the interview he discussed several problems abductions have, one being that they do not have the evidence that UFO’s in general have. He says “It’s an interesting world…It’s more complicated than we think.” There are no actual tapes or pictures to prove that they happened. Therefore he has to rely on the memory and word of several of his ‘clients’. He says that abductees are intergenerational; the parents, children and their children are all abducted at some point in time. Normally these people are abducted several times throughout their lives, but they only remember “snippets” from each one. The person abducted can never resist being brought into the UFO; they are hypnotized at an instant before they’re abducted. “You can’t just reach under the couch for the magnum 44 and blow their heads off” says Jacobs. He says that during abductions the victim goes through a process. The aliens take up the person into the UFO, remove the person's clothes, examine them properly, take sperm and eggs, remove embryo, and plant fetuses into the women. Also the aliens perform a scan of the human brain, referred to as a “neurological engagement” by Dr. Jacobs. This is where the aliens connect to the human’s optic nerve in a hypnotic way; they look into the person’s memory and also implant images into the person's mind. After that, the abductees are taken to a room where they look at a screen of some type and watch scenes of everyday life and then usually a scene showing an asteroid headed towards earth. No one knows why this happens. After that the person is taken into rooms with glass cylinders filled with water and “hybrid” fetuses. A hybrid is a race formed from aliens and humans together (this is why they take the sperm and eggs). Jacobs said that he has never encountered a hybrid, and if he has then he wouldn’t know it because they look so human. When I asked if he had any compelling evidence he told me about the stains that he found on abductees' clothes. It is a special kind of liquid that can be brown, pink, or florescent. He said that it has been examined by professionals, and they cannot identify it. He said it would be almost impossible for them to determine what it is because it’s like “solving for an unknown.” Towards the end of the interview he said that he wishes this didn’t exist so he can go on living his life. He added that these things really are happening, and there really is stuff out there. It took him a while to believe it, but “once I was at that point there was no turning back.”
I had a great experience interviewing this professor. It really helped me to step out of my comfort zone to contact someone far away. He was very kind to do the interview, and he seemed like he enjoyed sharing the knowledge that he has collected over the years. Pretty much everything he said was something that I have never heard; I learned a whole lot! He shared several stories with me that his clients experienced. He gave me his opinion on pretty much everything. I enjoyed hearing all of it, especially the part when he told me about people's common misconceptions and disbelief. I wasn’t sure if I believed in this stuff, and he told me why many do not believe. This is the very reason to believe. I liked everything he had to say. He knew what he was talking about…He has spent his lifetime researching.

UFOs: Fact of Fiction?
UFOs: Fact or Fiction presents the topic of UFOs and aliens from both perspectives. The first chapter of the book presents all the so called “facts” about UFOs and the existence of a higher intelligence. Several UFOs were spotted in the Cascade Mountains in Washington. A Pilot noticed a bright flash and several flying saucers “flip[ping] and flash[ing] in the sun right along their path” (O’Neill-Arnold 27). Another case was presented about the 1947 Roswell UFO crash. The crash, the artifacts and debris, and the attempted cover-up of the case were all discussed. Another case was in France where several plants were destroyed or altered and research was conducted to prove it. Another UFO report was in Tehran, Iran in 1976. A Pilot had noticed a bright light that was so intense that it lit up the ground below it from several kilometers in the air. Suddenly as they began to look closer at this mysterious light it disappeared. Another piece of evidence was presented: The Rendlesham forest sightings in England. The UFO was spotted in December of 1980 near two NATO air bases. Several strange lights were spotted in the forest and several people followed the light. There were reports of a hovering object in the woods, and three small beings were exiting the spacecraft. Several reports were received of disturbed pets and animals also. More evidence is presented about the government’s attempts to cover up UFO sightings, especially the CIA. Supposedly, the CIA has destroyed important documents about UFO sightings that would act as evidence. In1949 a CIA report that was uncovered stated that the objects were from outer-space or an advanced kind. Their excuse on investigating UFO events is that “they might be interplanetary” and it could be foreigners plotting to endanger the United States. Chapter two of this book tried to prove that UFOs are total fiction. One section of this included claims of insufficient and fake evidence. One example of fake evidence is, one man claims, the Roswell crash was a military flight testing with crash dummies inside. Also, around this time dummies had been launched from aircraft with automated parachute deployers for military testing. Many didn’t deploy and were damaged at impact, which could explain the reports of beings with missing limbs and only four fingers. Many ufologists (those that study UFOs) claim that most stories are conspiracies or made up for public interest. Another explanation for the bright lights often seen is that the earthen material near fault lines rubs together creating electromagnetic energy which can sometimes emit light for a short period of time and then instantly stop. This could explain the moving lights and sudden disappearance. Several UFO reports have been proved to be a misperception of the planet Venus. Venus has ability to cast shadows that could momentarily cause an illusion. Also, Venus’s stunning color catches the eyes of many when visible in the night sky as it revolves around the sun much quicker than earth. More explanations for so called UFO sightings include people suffering from delusions and new and unrecognized aircraft testing. Media also encourages the public to believe in alien life with reports of mysterious activities. The last counterattack is that there is no real legitimate proof of any type of alien life. All there is to go by is claims and a single man’s words. Men can never be trusted, and if their claims were true then where did all the evidence go?
I greatly enjoyed reading this book. It presented information from both sides of the debate and thoroughly examined the claims of each. The first part of the book mentioned all the major UFO events that have occurred. On the other hand, the second part of the book gave several logical explanations for the mysterious phenomenon. This allowed for me to take a closer look at both sides of stories and opinions on the topic. There was nothing included that shouldn’t have been in this book. The editor did well compiling the several short works in each section. The book was a good length and extremely easy to comprehend as well as very interesting.
There were only a few things that I did not like about the book. One element is that it only presented claims of several men whom I have never heard of. No real evidence was ever presented on either side in the dispute. There were logical explanations, but there was no specific proof that the events had not occurred. It was a very interesting book, but there just was not enough visual conformation or credible proof to convince me of aliens or their nonexistence.

Ancient Egyptian Evidence
The article “Aliens made us a social animal” by San Geetjass presents evidence from all over the world of alien-life. He says, “the evidence that we have got in our hand since last 5000 years lies somewhere in King Tuts Pyramid in Egypt.”Several tablets have been discovered from about 5000 years ago in one of the pyramids near king Tut’s tomb. On these walls are several drawings. There is an image of Egyptians offering food and sacrifice to an alien figure. Also, a tablet was discovered with several modern technologies drawn and carved out. Technologies such as helicopters, planes, tanks, submarines, space shuttles, rockets and more were clearly drawn. Also, the pyramids themselves were lined up with virtually perfect alignment with the Orion’s belt stars. Therefore from this, how could our modern technologies show up on 5000 year old tablets…a higher intelligence (alien) with more developed technologies must have visited.
This website was very interesting to me. The article was already very convincing, but when I saw the pictures with it I was amazed. The pictures of the fighter planes and tanks were exactly like today’s modern weapons. The article also mentions that the government has several secrets that have been hiding for years. Everyone wonders how the Egyptians actually built the pyramids. This could definitely be a possibility. Maybe they cut a deal with the aliens and used their aircraft to carefully lift and place the massive blocks of stone. It is eye catching and interesting even to those who don’t believe aliens exist. Overall this was a great article.

Mysterious lights filmed, said to be UFO's
Brad Drenning was an iReport witness of several blinking lights in the sky in Arizona in April of 2008. He was outside with his son and noticed four very bright blinking lights in a straight line. After that, he grabbed his video camera and recorded the 4 mysterious beams of light. They began to move into several different formations such as squares, a W-shape, diamonds, trapezoids etc. Each time they would move apart before reforming. The lights on them were pretty bright, but every few seconds that would become substantially brighter for about a second before returning to normal brightness. They were described as tens of thousands of feet high in the air. There were no reports of flight by any airport or military activity. It was confirmed that these lights were not a flare of any type. Soon after, the mysterious lights, described as UFO’s then flew off into the distance one-by-one.
This is a great source because there is actual footage of what happened instead of just a description. It looked pretty convincing to me; I seriously doubt that those were an illusion because it was obvious that they were moving in an organized and ordered way. It really stands out because this was recorded by an average citizen and it was his voice describing what happened; whereas, other reports are third person describing someone else’s views. The fact that it is from CNN means that it is a pretty legit source and it highly credible. This gives proper evidence of non-human (alien) life.

It really stands out because this was recorded by an average citizen and it was his voice describing what happened; whereas, other reports are third person describing someone else’s views. The fact that it is from CNN means that it is a pretty legit source and it highly credible. This gives proper evidence of non-human (alien) life.

Rendlesham Forest UFO sightings
Dave Cosnette discussed the events that occurred in the Rendlesham forest in his article “The Bentwaters Rendlesham Forest Incident.” Late December in 1980, there was a UFO sighting in Rendlesham Forest (in Suffolk, England) on two consecutive nights. Gordon Levitt, while in his garden with his dog at his isolated home, spotted the UFO that looked like “an upturned mushroom with a greenish-white glow.” Mysteriously, the man’s dog suddenly became ill the next day and died a few days later. There were several reports that night of flickering lights in the woods and loud noises. Later, as a few men tried to get closer to find out what was going on, they saw a bright light and a large object rose quickly into the air. Airman John Burroughs said of his experience, “I do not know whether this was some kind of machine under intelligent control or a fantastic natural phenomenon - some rare kind of energy. What I do know is that it was nothing mundane. There are no words that can adequately describe the wonder of what we saw.” The next day there were triangular indentions in the ground from where the landing legs of the spaceship had been. There were also many trees destroyed, and Infra-red radiation was detected by a plane that flew directly over the forest. The next night a group of men including Burroughs wandered deep into the forest hoping to spot the UFO one more time. Suddenly, at approximately 1:48 a.m. the UFO returned. Apparently a glowing light came down from a ship and it was floating on a yellowish color mist. After these two sightings, US Deputy Base Commander Charles Halt and several members of the Royal Air Force gathered together in a meeting, but strangely did not want this discussion to go public. Only a few days later, top-secret flights were being launched. Some members of US intelligence agencies were involved. Many believe that this meeting was in discussion of attempting to hide from the public what had truly happened in the forest that night.
I thought this was a really interesting event that occurred in Europe. This website gives views of several perspectives. This may not be as credible because it is something that happened in Europe, but it is still very convincing to me. It is surprising to me that radiation was actually detected, where no type of military experiment had occurred. I think that this page in particular is well organized, and the information can be trusted.

Life on Mars
Life on Mars is possible on the red planet. Its terrain is similar to earths; it also has weather patterns. Mars also has a presence of water. And it is proven as of July 31, 2008 by the Phoenix Mars Lander. Mars has the presence of methane. "On earth 90 percent of our atmospheric methane is produced biologically, the remaining methane is produced geochemically [interactions between water and rock]." On January 15, 2009, NASA scientist stated that areas of Mars naturally release methane. Scientists think that the methane is produced biological, and that there could be alien organisms living on Mars.
This was a short video source that contained five simple points of why life can exist on Mars. I found this a credible source because all the information that was stated was proven by a space agency in some point in time. It may not prove that life exists on Mars, but there are logical ideas and traces of life from the past that seem pretty convincing to me. If life used to exist on Mars, it can exist on Mars or anywhere else besides earth.

It may not prove that life exists on Mars, but there are logical ideas and traces of life from the past that seem pretty convincing to me. If life used to exist on Mars, it can exist on Mars or anywhere else besides earth.
